2017 KC Nanobrew Festival

On December 15, 2016 by KC Nanobrews

Berkley Riverfront Park, June 24th, 2017, 2-6pm.

We are extremely excited to officially announce the 8th annual KC Nanobrew Fest!! The original and only festival in KC dedicated solely to local home brewing and giving the public a chance to see all the amazing brewing talent we have in our community.

We love attending beer festivals and sampling all the great craft brewing that has transformed over the past few years from hobby to the soaring success we enjoy today. So it has been our mission to provide the best festival experience for the best price. Our admission includes a full-size souvenir glass, a $5 food voucher, and entertainment! Our generous brewers offer attendees unlimited tastings of their beer.

If you’re like us, you also hate lines and massive crowds, and prefer to hang out with friends and fellow enthusiasts to talk about brewing, beer, and other nonsense while enjoying locally crafted brews. That’s why we strictly cap our attendance based on the number of beers we plan to have on tap and the capacity of the venue.

Last year we brought the festival to a location that’s easy to get to from anywhere in town: Berkley Riverfront Park. The 17-acre park is located on the south bank of the Missouri River between the Kit Bond Bridge and Heart of America Bridge. This spacious outdoor venue consists of more than 300 trees and a nearly one-mile long esplanade with period lighting. This new location was a big hit with attendees and we look forward to making it a permanent home for the festival.

Last years festival featured over 200 home brewed beers, food vendors, local breweries, beer related vendors, Jenga, Bags, Music, and even a Drone! Be sure to check out the pictures and drone footage of last years festival on our Facebook Festival Page!

It’s hard to believe that this is our 8th year. We began as the Brookside Nanobrew Festival, a gathering of about 100 friends and brewers at a residence in Brookside. While the event has grown and become open to the public, we want to retain that community atmosphere, excellent access to tasting homebrew and talking with brewers, and give attendees the best experience possible. We’re not backed by a corporation or other business interests. It’s always been about the brewers and connecting them with the community and we’re intent on maintaining that mission.

Every year, we have sold out far in advance of the event, so tell your friends and don’t be left out. See you at the 2017 festival!  We invite you to like our Facebook Festival Page in order to stay updated with the latest festival information and lineup.  Read our FAQ for more information.
